The location was splendid, and I was impressed by the warm, personalized service! Staff went above & beyond, even upgrading my daughter's room so we could be on the same floor!

While the hotel had much to offer, the absence of a swimming pool or gym was noticeable for some travelers.

The superior double option room felt dark and cramped with a minimal window. The breakfast spread lacked quality, often serving diluted orange juice and failing to offer expected local fruits such as mangoes. The hotel's layout is quite narrow, making movement a bit awkward, especially for larger groups or families.

stayed for 3 nights, and the so-called 'Superior' room was dark, like a cave. The breakfast was laughably bad—watered-down orange juice? Really? I expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but nope! I almost considered giving a good review, but just couldn’t deal with the disappointment. Definitley not 4-star!

If you have time, ask for the special room decorations—they went above and beyond for us during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the Family Suite City View with the kids and my niece. The staff organized a fantastic overnight tour in Halong Bay for us, which was a highlight. The breakfast spread was perfect for everyone, especially the fresh fruit.

In my wife’s opinion, the kids wanted more kid-friendly meal options.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The staff's attention to detail made our honeymoon unforgettable, complete with special room decorations and delicious breakfast options for all diets.

marvellous hotel & spa is right in the heart of the old quarter, super close to beer street. the staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful. i especially loved the fantastic breakfast, especially the banana pancakes. also, the spacious junior suite was spotless and comfy for a great night's sleep, thanks to good soundproofing.

Couple's perfect getaway

Waking up to breakfast on the 6th floor, we had a view that could make anyone's morning better. The staff, especially Lizzie and Lan, were really personal and treated us like family.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but definitely worth it.
